Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground saffron
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, garlic, salt, pepper, saffron, yogurt, and olive oil. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Thread the chicken onto skewers, reserving any marinade.
- Grill the skewers for about 8-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred, turning occasionally and basting with the reserved marinade.
- Serve with lemon wedges and enjoy!
- Note: if you don’t have skewers, you can also cook chicken in a pan or oven.
