Ingredients:

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground saffron
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, garlic, salt, pepper, saffron, yogurt, and olive oil. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Thread the chicken onto skewers, reserving any marinade.
  3. Grill the skewers for about 8-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred, turning occasionally and basting with the reserved marinade.
  4. Serve with lemon wedges and enjoy!
  5. Note: if you don’t have skewers, you can also cook chicken in a pan or oven.
